People often confuse this with a fixed set of teeth. An implant retained denture is removable by you: you unclip it to clean it, and you clean around the implants, which matters, because the gum around an implant can become inflamed if it is neglected. A fixed full-arch bridge that never comes out is a different treatment through a different pathway. If that is what you are picturing, say so and we will point you the right way.

Who does what

We are a denture practice. We make and fit the denture and the attachments that connect it to your implants. The implants themselves are surgically placed by a dentist or oral surgeon, and whether implants are suitable at all depends on bone, general health and what the surgeon finds. That assessment sits with them.

What to think about first

Cost comes in two parts, the surgical side and the denture side, usually billed separately by the two practices. The clips inside the denture are wearing components and are replaced periodically, so ask about that at the outset rather than meeting it as a surprise later.
