Extend the Life of Your Dentures with Repair and Reline

Daily wear causes cracks, chips and a fit that slowly goes loose. We repair cracks, clean breaks, chipped or lost teeth and broken clasps on partials. Because the laboratory is here at 1254 Plenty Rd, your denture is not couriered to a third party and back. Dentures made by another clinic are welcome.

Please don't superglue it

We know the temptation. Household glue is not made for the mouth, it sets in the wrong shape, and it soaks into the acrylic, which can turn a straightforward repair into a remake. Put the pieces in a bag, keep every fragment, and ring us.

Hard and soft relines

A reline does not change the teeth. It rebuilds the fitting surface against your gum, so a denture that has gone loose seats properly again. Your gum ridge keeps remodelling for as long as you wear one, so the gap grows. A hard reline bonds new acrylic to the fitting surface and restores a firm seat. A soft reline adds a cushioning layer for sore or sensitive gums, and needs replacing more often.

Reline, or a new denture?

Relining a denture that is worn out is money spent on the wrong thing. If the teeth are worn flat, the bite has collapsed, or the acrylic has been repaired repeatedly, a new denture is better value even though it costs more today. Bring it in and we will tell you which you are looking at. If a reline will do, we will say so.
